Just my day.

Okay guys, (or girl...since I only have 1 follower. :/) this is probably going to be a the most boring blog I'll ever write. It's about the day I had today.

It all started when I woke up...obviously...it was about 2.30pm as usual, and I wanted more sleep. I also needed the toilet - BAD! I couldn't go because my brother was in the shower, so I had to wait. I popped a game into my DS and started to play...but as soon as it was set up, he was out of the bathroom. I peed. I then went about normal 'morning' duties, such as tooth brushing. I went downstairs, and did what I've done every day for the last 2 months...I switched the computer on. Let me guess what your thinking..."Get up and do something then!"? So after about 2-3 hours of Facebook-ing and Youtube-ing, I got a phone call from Connor (who in case you didn't know is one of my best friends) asking if I was "going tonight", and by that he meant if I was going to Discipleship...at this point I was in an 'I-can't-be-bothered-with-anything' kind of mood. So I said I might, and he told me if I was going, he would see me there. So I put some Pasta Bake in the oven, which took 45 minutes to cook, and after it was ready, I ate it while exploring the vast world of the internet, I went for a shower and got ready to go. Yes, I was going. I did my hair, which is a fairly new experience to me, since I never did my hair before, but now I'm being forced by my mother. Ugh. I searched frantically to look for a spare set of headphones while my Skullcandies were off being repaired/replaced. I found none.
I left, walking to town playing music on my phone for the 20-25 minute walk and then arrived. I waited at the Church for Connor, but he didn't show up. I was not best amused. I had a cup of tea, and then we went on to the usual discipleship stuff.
I left there at about 9.30pm and felt inspired walking out. Lovely. :)
I walked up to Connor's then, which is about 5-10 minutes away, and asked what he was doing. He scared me a bit but gave me chocolate. He claims to had forgotten. Oh, well. I left there after about 15 minutes, and walked home. Again listening to my music. I got home and my father was on the computer, so I went in the living room and watched TV with my brother. Nothing I liked of course. I had a bowl of Ice-Cream and then put a Jacket Potato in the oven. I watched 2 episodes of Heroes while it was cooking, and when it was ready, my father went to bed and I got to go on the computer while eating food. How fun. And here I am now.

Well? Wasn't that just the most boring blog you've ever read?

FRUSTRATION!

Sometimes, I wonder if my mother remembers what it was like to be a teenager.
I sent my old phone off to be recycled this week, so I'm expecting a cheque of a wonderful £22.09, so I asked my mother to lend me £12.50 so I could go and see a really good band play in London next month, I know it's a long way, but I'm sure I can handle it.
So, she refuses to loan me the money even though I can pay her back in about a week. I really want to see this band, and I just hope the tickets aren't sold out by the time I have the money.
Has anyone else had this kind of problem? Let me know in a comment. :)

The band is We Are The Fallen. Check out their first 2 songs on http://www.wearethefallen.com/default.aspx

Mrmm...Cake.

Is it just me, or does hardly anyone know how to cook these days. I'm practically living off a diet of frozen chips and some other random freezer item (today was a turkey steak).
I mean, I can cook pretty well...but my mother can't, let's be honest. Her range is very limited. So she buys the same things over and over again, and I hate eating the same things. It would be nice to replace spaghetti bolognese with macaroni and cheese on day.
I can make a really good cake, because I'm good at following recipes and adjusting where it's needed.
But the thing I love is the 5 minute chocolate cake in a mug. Ready in 5 minutes and quite delicious too!
Here's the recipe:
4 tablespoons plain flour
4 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons cocoa powder
3 tablespoons milk
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
[optional]
3 tablespoons chocolate chips
2 tablespoons vanilla extract
Add all these ingredients to a large mug and mix them all thoroughly. Put in the microwave for 3 minutes. Yum. :)

I haven't added the optional ingredients myself, and I'm considering adjusting this myself. Maybe add some orange zest and syrup.
Let me know what you think of this cake. :)

Dear Prime Minister

Dear Mr Prime Minister,
Do you get pleasure from driving our country into the ground? I mean, honestly, how can you let people get away with the things they do. You seriously need to sort out your messed up justice system. How do you sleep knowing that there are killers and robbers running loose, and you don't seem to be doing a thing about it because you're so busy fuelling a completely pointless war in another country. What good will that do us? Do you expect the recession to be over because you spent all the tax payers money on weapons in a war that doesn't concern us? You're digging us into a hole, and if you keep plowing, it will be too hard to get out. You may live comfortably in your house, but what about us less fortunate? What are we supposed to do about it?
There are thousands of homeless people out there, why don't you do something to help them? Why don't you fund rehabilitation for drug users who actually want help? Why don't you do more for the less fortunate of your country instead of making more people out of home and losing family in another country?
There's so much going on in your country, but you're blind to it. Why don't you turn your attention to us. We are your country! You say your doing something about gang culture? I don't see any improvements.
I realise your job can't be easy, but remember you are the person that ran for prime minister! Remember us, your country.
Sincerely,
Sean.

Stereotypes.

I was tempted to write another blog. I feel inspired.
.
.
.
Why is it that old people always like to criticize the 'younger generation'. I don't mean to sound rude or aggressive, but to be completely honest, I'm sick of getting dodgy looks every time I pass one on the street or when I'm walking to my seat on a bus.
I mean, could you be more stereotypical? Not every teenager wants to stab and rip everything they see. I know not all old people are like this, but it's the majority that gives me dodgy looks.
I got a new haircut today, and I wasn't sure I liked it enough yet, so I kept my hood up. Then as I was waiting for my bus, I let an older person go in front of me, and the looks I got were disgusting.

Another example of stereotyping is when just last Friday, I was stopped by the police for a 'routine search'. Routine search? Yeah, right. I got a copy of the report and apparently I was stopped for looking suspicious. What kind of a a world do we live in when walking down the street listening to music is suspicious? I was asked if I had any drugs on my possession - I didn't, of course - and then I was asked if I knew of any suspicious activity in the area, which I didn't. And since I was forced to empty my pockets, I lost my £5 for Youth Club. I wouldn't have been so annoyed by this if there wasn't an equally 'suspicious' looking man walking about 15-20 feet away from me. But, of course...I'm a teenager. I must be violent, aggresive and addicted to drugs. Seriously police, stop stereotyping and look for people that actually do look suspicious.

Why don't we stereotype all old people as smelly fish-people, and all police as doughnut-eating pigs, and see how much they like it. Not much I would assume.

What do you think of common stereotypes nowadays. Leave a comment. :)

About me. :)

Well, hey there and hello to my first blog. :)
I'm Sean. Although if your reading this then you already know me, if not...then hello, pleased to meet you.
I'm 16 years old, and I'm kind of a slob. I don't do it on purpose. I dropped college for a while, but I'll be starting back in September doing either A-Levels (English Literature, Psychology & Sociology) or I'll be doing a cooking course. But enough of the more-boring-than-average details.
I'm an ex-pupil at Ysgol y Strade and I like pie.

This is my very first blog, so I'm probably not all that good at it, but please let me know.
I'm not going to let you add me on facebook, unless I know you personally, but I will let you follow me on Twitter...which is just as creepy anyway.
My Twitter is PepsiLegs.
Follow me. ;)

Life's pretty good at the moment. :)
Anything else you want to know? E-mail me at SLL2K5@aol.com
I rarely check my e-mail, so you don't really have much hope of contacting me there. I'm more of a social networking guy to be honest.
I have bebo, add me if you want: Brain Fart
I probably won't accept since I haven't been on it in months...and let's be honest...who has?
